Curious Matter — an elegant yet fascinating sand-like textured paper in its richly ultra-pigmented colour that’s widely used in luxury prints. On texture, Curious Matter looks silky and smooth on the surface but it actually feels like sand when you touch on the paper.
| Idea
Relating Curious Matter to crystals due to their similar yet unique texture sensations, it only makes sense to position it in a luxurious manner. Crystals look silky and glassy to be touched but it’s actually not that perfectly glassy when you touch on it due the surface of crystals do have composed of tiny, protruding elements. At this point, it is quite similar to the texture of Curious Matter.
